KOHANAIKI
Kohanaiki Golf & Ocean Club is a private equity club and residential community set along the Kona coast. There are preserved archaeological sites throughout the property that include fish ponds once used by the ancient Polynesians. The entrance to the resort was designed to blend with the resort's archaeological character by disguising a large retention pond with remnant lava rock walls and renaturalized lava. The natural lagoon edges are softened by the masses of native plants that spill into the water.
